The KI Method® is the use of basic physiological physics to help restore the correct circulation or conductivity of electrical energy in the body.  The traditional Western medical approach to disease has mastered the sciences of biochemistry and surgery to astonishing degrees.  Nevertheless, in regard to many chronic illnesses, the efforts of modern medicine to develop effective treatments have failed.  

The human body has many systems, all operating in relation to one another to maintain health and life . We are familiar with systems such as the digestive, circulatory, respiratory, and immune.  The KI Method® focuses on another body system with which most of us are unfamiliar—its electrical system. A KI Method® practitioner, whether working on him/her self or someone else, places both hands lightly on two different and precise locations on the body (over clothing).  This action stimulates the body's energy to move as a result of the positive polarity of the right palm and fingers, and the negative polarity of the left palm and fingers.  The energy will travel along established pathways from the location of one hand to the other.  Then, it will circulate onward through the pathways which return the electrical energy current to the other hand's location.  This flow of electrical circulation promotes better blood and lymphatic circulation, increased CNS (central nervous system) conductivity, and enzyme activity - all of which are important to revitalize and rejuvenate body systems.

A KI Method® “sequence” usually refers to a series of positions for the placement of a practitioner's hands on another person's body or on their own body.  Each position is held for at least several minutes.  Normally, a complete session takes about an hour.  The touch of the practitioner's hands on the recipient's body is light.  There is no pressure or rubbing.  The body responds to the treatment easily and there is no irritation of body systems (unlike certain other Eastern modalities such as acupuncture) because the touch applied with the KI Method® is so light.  This gentle and natural way of stimulating this vital electrical energy to circulate properly (coherence) produces no negative repercussions.  In addition, the treatments are very effective in relieving tension, stress, and pain in the body.
